I’m drawn to movement, flow, and the intricate structures found in nature. That’s where most of my inspiration comes from. My sculptures reflect that. They’re shaped through a mix of materials, tools, and processes developed over many years of exploration and effort. What I make keeps evolving, so i invite you to follow along this journey.
In this photo, you’re seeing a few works in progress at an early stage in the process. They’re lit in no special way, just standard warehouse lighting. Yet, even in this raw form, the light glides across the bending and twisting surfaces. The shapes hold foreground, midground, and background depths of view from every angle. In that sense, these art pieces engage the eyes by inviting viewers to move around them and discover something new with each twisting and surprising perspective.

"Weaving in and out of the piece with both deliberate shaping and getting lost in the form is one of my favorite parts of the process. I enjoy this immersion because i'm guided mostly by feeling and less thinking" - David Kujda
"I use ladders and lifts to move all around large art pieces like this one. There isn't a single detail that gets passed over. If this art was hanging on a ceiling or on a wall, this would be the straight on view that you'd see" - David Kujda
